Obama Explicit on Redistribution of Wealth

Oct 27, 2008

Wow. Usually, collectivists like to shroud their redistribution rhetoric, typically in dishonest, relationally-inverse-from-what’s-really-going-on terms (i.e. create jobs, more tax cuts for the rich, etc).

At least Obama’s honest…well, here anyways.

Lots of quote-gems here for the McCain campaign. I can’t imagine some scaled-down version of this one will go unnoticed.

The tragedies of the civil rights movement was, because the civil rights movement became so court-focused, there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community-organizing activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change. And in some ways we still suffer from that.

It’s no whitey-tape but pretty damn close.

Amazing that we are all just now looking at this, and talking about this, just 7 days before the election.

Are McCain’s campaign staffers, fact checkers and dirt diggers totally incompetent, or what? What a bunch of morons. (I’ll revise that statement to read “semi-morons” if McCain wins, but I will still think they could have done WAY better, WAY sooner.)(And if Obama wins, they will be dubbed super-morons.)

(Hey, it’s a new comic book super hero: “Super Moron!” … Slower than a hillbilly on heroin; less powerful than my 94 year old grandma; able to f*ck up a no-brainer political campaign from word one…”)

I got a look at my investments accounts today. From what I saw the wealth in my case already got redistributed. After Bush’s friends got done with me I have nothing left for Obama or McCain. I think we all know that the trillion dollar deal Bush signed off on won’t be returned if McCain gets in.
